My other big problem with this is lying and deceiving and playing. I understand that it is the point of the book, and a lot of people like it, it just bothered me a lot, and I couldn’t let go of it.
I was not triggered by it, that is not a trigger I have, but it made me deeply uncomfortable. My two main problems were the abuse on page and the dubious consent. However… A lot of heavy things happen in it, and I’m not okay with most of it. This was a really good book, it really entertained me, hooked me from page one.
